Hello people, thought it was about time I updated my journal, so here I am. I have no idea what Im gonna say so lets see what my fingers type...

Well first of all Id like to pimp a band that have used some of my art for the cover of their latest digital download, the band is called Shelshock and the song is called Absent.. and they used my image "Absent" makes sense lol. Anywho Im not just saying this because they used my art, I genuinely love the track and the band is well worth checking out, they are a delicious mix of metal/industrial with a smattering of electronica. In other news Im without a sub here at DA for the first time in many many years >_< feels very strange. Im gonna have to survive without for the time being, theres a global recession out there and its eating money and us artists arent known for being the biggest earners lol so for now its ad fuelled DA for me, but honestly its not a big deal, if thats the only thing I have to complain about Im not doing too bad

Hmm what else.. Oh I recently started a part time job, needs must atm. Bad points.. well less time to devote to my artwork, stupid early starts to my work days and around 6 hours travel.  Good points.. its in an art gallery I have met lots of new artists and made some good contacts, been very interesting actually, the gallery is a contemporary art gallery, an area that I hadnt really explored much before. So a whole new experience. Im really liking a lot of the work we show, but some is a little crazy lol.  I could go into the whole debate about what constitutes art and all that, but honestly I kinda despise that question, art is subjective.. one mans poop is another mans.. non poop and so ends todays lesson children.
